Does it mean that I am really getting old when...

someone from high school friend requests me on facebook and I can not for the life of me figure out who they are? And when they say, "It's been so long", how do you answer that? Should I say, "It has been", which sounds nicer than, "Have we ever met in my life"? :)

I thought I was getting old when they played all of my favorite 80's hairbands on VH1 classic. I knew I was getting older when the things that I wore in junior high came back as being retro cool, (jellies and plastic bracelets anyone)! Now this whole darn facebook thing has me thinking that I am bordering on being an Alzheimer's patient!

Well if your school was anything like mine - with a student body of 4,000 - then I'd say it was perfectly acceptable. Heck, I didn't learn some of those people's names until I got my yearbook! And by then it didn't even matter anymore.

Ha, I'm 21 and get people I barely knew or didn't know at all friend requesting me. They get rejected because seriously... I don't know you!
