Playing Catch Up, Part 2

This past weekend we traveled to Mobile, Alabama. They have a concert festival, Bayfest, there in downtown so Gabe, my friend Shyanne and I all went for the weekend.

I grew up loving Motley Crue so it was awesome to see their last US tour date of the year there.

Nikki Sixx, the main reason I grew up loving Motley Crue! ;)

Since Papa Roach was playing as well we stuck around until the last night of the festival to see them also.

That's Tobin with his cool bird tattoo.

Jacoby getting mobbed by all the screaming girls. LOL!

Saturday we took a break from the concert crowds and went over to Biloxi, Mississippi. For those of you who have never been it is a great little casino town with a lot of charm and laid back attitude. The Hard Rock there is so cool and I personally like it much better than the Vegas one.

Another one of my favorites there is the Beau Rivage. It is like the Bellagio of Biloxi. Very classy and elegant!

Here we all are, right before Shy started stealing flowers from the large arrangement. Shhhh....I didn't say a word! ;)

Looks like someone really got out and had a change of scenary!

I've only driven through Mobile (on the way to Gulf Shores) and Biloxi - where I remember the coast highway and Jefferson Davis' house. Would love to go back sometime (and soon).

Lol just a little change of scenary! If it has been several years, well after Katrina hit, that you have been to Biloxi it has changed quite a bit. Most of the historic homes along the beach are now gone which changes the city a lot. It is still a great town and they have worked so hard to get it back after the hurricane. It is funny but I really love Biloxi more than Vegas for gambling. It is so laid back and I love the beachy feel.

Not familiar with the bands, but then I didn't follow bands much after the days of The Doors, Hendrix, etc...ROFL!

I won't tell about the flowers. ;)

Well the Doors and Hendrix were great as well! :) LOL thanks! I would hate for them to come after Shy for some wilted flowers! LOL!
