Nice to Meet You

There have been so many new followers lately in addition to my great bloggy friends that have been with Joy De Vivre for some time now! While you all have to hear many aspects of my life, sorry for the boring ones :) , I don't always get to hear about all of you!
So I would love for you to introduce yourselves to everyone here! Tell us random facts about yourself or whatever you like and share your blogs if you have one!

Does this mean I'm first?

I'm Tami of TMCPhoto on Etsy and of So Anyway on blogspot

A random fact about me: I will stay awake all night long to photograph solar storms and lightening (unfortunately not at the same time)

also I am having serious cravings for butter chicken and paneer pakora right now at 8:00am

Sure thing! Well I'm a NYC magazine writer who wastes way too much time online. I've been freelancing for the past 6.5 months and still don't know how I've managed to make it work. I do love the free time I get to hit up Central Park and enjoy the gorgeous weather we've been having!

My blog Dry As Toast pretty much chronicles my life in the city, writing, relationship ups and downs and all the fun randomness that revolves around me.

Hi there! :) I'm Tsuki of Little Gray Fox on Etsy and on blogger:

I'm currently organizing Seattle's huge etsy party on june 18th as part of their worldwide craft party. it's pretty crazy but I think it's gonna be a lot of fun!

When I was a kid I lived in a small town in Alaska with my grandparents. We were adopted into the local indian (Klinket) tribe because my grandma was known for helping local abandoned wildlife. She even raised a baby moose once whose mom was killed. Guess they didn't have wildlife shelters out there. I think that town got their first payphone in 1988. I remember it was very exciting!

This is so cool learning more about you all! Plus it will help you find each others awesome blogs! :)

TMCPhoto-You should have been in Houston last night! I was awake all night from a lightening storm! I hope you managed to get your butter chicken today!

Dorkys-I am so proud of you making your freelance work! I know you were worried at first but you are doing so well! I love seeing your Central Park pictures. If I can't be there at least I can live through your photos! It looks so much nicer right now than with 5 feet of snow all over it! :)

Linda-a girl after my own heart! Chocolate and ice cream!

Tsuki-OOh your Etsy party sounds like fun! I hope you have a great time with it. I love the moose story. That would be so cool to have a moose. I would name it Bullwinkle!

Ummmm....random fact...I have been toying around with the idea of selling oatmeal online (my own, fancy schmancy, ridiculously healthy blend!) So far though, I'm too afraid no one will buy it :p

Hi, my name is Karl, and I have a drinking problem... Oh no! Wait!! I'm in the wrong room!

Seriously, I'm rarely one to take things altogether seriously. I admire the simple, the artistic, the creative and the witty. I like to think I look at the world from my own angle and perspective.

I work with computer databases, primarily for drug companies that are conducting clinical trials on potential new drugs. So I like to say, I test drugs for a living. I often need to translate things like forms and user manuals to/from other languages so I can "get around" in about 4-5 of them, but can't speak any of them besides english (due to being nearly deaf).

I've been to at least 45 of the US states and over 15 foreign countries.

LambAround-I think you should go for it! You will never know who could buy it otherwise! :) Our local store carries many types of oatmeal so there must be a big market in it.

Intense Guy-LOL yeah I think you were in the wrong place at first! :) I never knew that was your job, very interesting. I know from the literature we have to send doctors on our medical device that you have a very involved job! I didn't know you were nearly deaf. See I am learning about everyone here!

You really are a world traveler! Very cool!
