Saturday Gabe and I went to the Museum of Natural Science. They are having a great exhibit right now on the Terra Cotta Warriors from China. In my design history class we did a section on them and I found them amazing. I knew I could not miss seeing them in Houston. Below is a replica of one. They would not allow us to take photos of the real ones in the exhibit as to preserve them.
After seeing the warriors we walked around the museum for a bit. I loved the gem and mineral section. I took so many photos of them, but I will only bore you all with two. I seriously need to figure out a way to get rich and famous so that I can afford the aquamarine stone, my birthstone, that they had displayed! ;) So beautiful and so unattainable!
Our friend Aaron got a new puppy and brought her over to meet us. Her name is Lucy and she is a really sweet pup. As you can tell from the bottom picture it took Barkley a few moments to get used to her! He looks like he is wondering what the heck she is! LOL! He does think he is a human after all!

SillyLittleLady-I love museums too. I would go more often to them if everything wasn't so darn expensive! Puppies are so much fun. Barkley gives me endless hours of entertainment! LOL!
